A quiet, careful
privacy policy.
Last updated 11 June 2026.
1. The short version
We collect only what we need to plan and photograph your wedding. We do not sell your data. Ever. If you want anything removed, write to us and we'll handle it within seven days.
2. What we collect
When you enquire, we collect your name, partner's name, email, phone, wedding date and location, and anything you tell us in your message. When you become a client, we additionally hold the contract, schedule, and the photographs themselves.
3. How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to plan the wedding, to deliver and archive your photographs and films, and — only with your written permission — to share work on our website, journal, and social channels.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years and then deleted. Client contracts and final deliverables are archived indefinitely so we can supply prints and reprints on request. You can ask us to delete client records (other than legally required ones) at any time.
5. Sharing
We never sell or rent your data. We share strictly with the vendors needed to make your day happen — printers, album binders, our cloud archive — and only the minimum needed for them to do their work.
6. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies only. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not track you across sites.
7. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal obligations). Write to kalkifotography@gmail.com.
8. Changes
If we change this policy in any meaningful way we'll email every active client. Otherwise the updated version simply replaces the old one here.
